One more good thing about this knife...
...The came in a nice black, gift-presentation-worthy, sturdy cardboard box (for all you collectors) but what was really nice was the cordura zipper-case. It has a PVC Boker patch stitched on. The 2 zippers have rings for a small padlock and there's enough room in the case for the knife and a few small additional items, maybe a sharpener, a cloth and some oil or a Ferro rod and tinder? Your emergency whistle and a penlight. That type of stuff. It's a pretty nice durable case, a nice addition - especially for the price - and let's you know you made the right purchase. This is my first BokerPlus product, but after this I've decided to purchase some of their other products I'm interested in. Enjoy!!!

Good Knife/Worth the price!
A good sturdy, well-built, well-designed, appropriately-priced modern auto. I like it. It's a great edc for function, capability and ease of carry. This knife reminds me of a Benchmade Auto, but lighter and smaller - not as bulky - yet similar materials and design and seems very, very sturdy and durable. The Boker Strike was on my list for awhile, but I was waiting to purchase one. I decided to go ahead and get one when I noticed that the blade/handle style/colors that I wanted were selling out and fewer and fewer sites are having them and nobody seems to be restocking and the models may not in production. This particular model has a modified- clip, or drop-point blade, sometimes called a spear-point which is what I was looking for. These knives will last especially if you know how to treat it, even so, I get the impression that this knife will also tolerate neglect and abuse. Whether you are indoors or outdoors. The bush or in town. This is a good knife and I don't think you can go wrong. Happy Knife-hunting!

Great for the price but...
This is the 2nd Boker I ordered from here and both product packages were opened with slight handling marks (signs). Both needed some tuning to open properly but it shouldn't need it if it's new. *Edit* Got a quick response for reasons why it was already opened (seals were broken) and it makes sense. For the price, it wasn't a big deal but something to note. I had to expand the opening by the hilt that seemed to rub against the blade, slowing the opening action. I used a small screwdriver wrapped in a thin cloth to pry it open just a touch and now it's very snappy. If this is half as tough as it's reviewed, I'll be very happy.
