The Cold Steel Safe Maker blade, shaft, and 'T' shaped tangs are fashioned from one solid piece of Japanese AUS8A Stainless Steel with a stone washed finish, and then subsequently vacuum heat treated and sub-zero quenched for added strength and performance. A textured black Kray-Ex handle encapsulates the tang and part of the shaft for added comfort and security. The Safe Maker includes an easily concealable and sturdy Secure-Ex boot/belt sheath.

Keep them off you
Great knife. Good to use in non gun hand to keep baddies off and away from you while you are drawing your precious metal. Grip better than standard knife. My experience no one leaves a knife fight unscathed, but gaining drawing distance [prevents damage, and gets the distance, and gets you the time. This is ideal for that goal
