Hogue makes the EDC cut
Although my normal E.D.C.'s rotate from my 0562 ZT, Emerson CQC7 and Hinderer XM18, I was in the market for a 4" blade instead of the 3.5 but wanted to keep the weight down. I was intrigued by the upswept wharncliffe style blade and I have a few Hogue's so I went for it. This SIG X5 turned out to be a real hit. Solid lockup, strong detent as well as a comfortable grip (I checked and a few complaints on grip feel were from the 3.5 version). I highly recommend this knife if you want a larger and confident carry with balanced weight and a solid feel.....nicely done Hogue.
