Looking at it, it looks like a normal pen. But with a slide up on the textured pocket clip, a menacing dagger blade will fire into a locked position faster than you can blink an eye. The pen includes two end caps: one that will prevent the blade from firing and one to leave the way clear. An additional safety can be activated by rotating the top of the pen. Delta Force OTF D/A Automatic Pen Knife
I gave this knife a rating of four. It is a much better pen than it is a knife, being more of a novelty item. I would not wish to be on a plane full of terrorists with this as my only means of defense. Still, the smile factor and the gadget factor are high here. You push up on the pocket clip, and a little blade, about like that on a nail clipper, snaps out. The blade has a sharp point, but the blade edge is not sharpened. I recommend it for the fun factor, but please don;t confuse it with something else.
