Frank B not what they used to be
I have several Frank Beltrame stilletos, I love the classics but this last one I got wasn't the quality of the previous ones I got and not to mention older models of course. the new wider spring makes it heavy and chunky but also the fit and finish is sloppy, I realize it's not an expensive piece but it rivals some of my $30 chinese switches. this one has a crease in the spine right where the center pins are drilled it looks like it may be cracked from the drill hole on the back side. I don't know I figure one day it might break. I always store them open for that reason.we'll see. also when open the blade opens too far so it is not straight in open position. but I prefer the old design still a decent knife just not great

Frank B. Stiletto Automatic Knife
Anyone that is familiar with automatic knives know about Frank Beltrame Products. This Stiletto example that I purchased is the quality that I expected. The spring eject action works quickly and reliably and the slide "lock" is smooth and easy to move. Works the first time every time. These Frank B. knives cost a few bucks more but this is a great example of "you get what you pay for". I have cheaper automatic knives so I'm aware of the difference. I'll buy more for gifts as the occasions arise.
