The Launch 4 opens with a push button, recessed so that it is level with the flat of the handle. This is a safety feature and makes it harder for the knives to accidentally deploy. For left-handed use, press the blade-release/lock button with your index finger instead of your thumb. Perfectly sized automatic pocket knife.
This is a great little auto pocket knife. I was able to handle one at a local gun show and I knew I had to have it (less the $100 sticker the guy had on it). I searched online and Perry Knifeworks absolutely had the cheapest price, even with shipping included. I ordered it on a Friday and got it on a Tuesday. Now I have the knife and it's absolutely the perfect EDC that I was wanting.

Great Value
I have almost all of the kershaw Launches but this little 4 is in a class of its own. It is small, very compact and very unassuming. Lock up is very solid just like Kershaw's are so no complaints there. The action is strong. You must have a firm grip on the handle when firing or it will fly right out of your hand.

I recently purchased the Kershaw Launch 4 and I really like the size, materials, light weight, and blade design. Great every day carry fits nicely in my pocket. Very pleased with this one.

quality piece for your pocket
Very pleased with this knife. Nicely engineered small auto knife! Good quality blade, smooth snappy action, all metal and solidly built!! Nothing chincy about this "small" knife. It is small, definitely a great knife to carry anywhere, and fits the hand well, but it's not gonna give you the grip of a full size.

Small easy to carry takes up no room in your pocket. Very nice shape overall The blade is very tight when opened. Great for everyday use. worth the money
