Lightning Elite Dagger
Knife was shipped quickly and was packaged in a nice padded envelope. Very happy with my first purchase from Perry Knifeworks. For the knife itself, it has a fast and tight fire with no spring rattle. Very little if any blade play when extended. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that one of the pocket clip screws would not come out and stripped easily. I'm guessing it may have been put in using Loctite. I finally got it out by spinning the clip around, but the screw is toast. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Just be careful with the screws. Highly recommend Perry Knifeworks.

Lightning Elite Black
Good quality for the price. Blade is sharp and sturdy, with barely a wiggle at all. Action is smooth and crisp. Overall, the knife is a pleasure and will join the EDC roundup.

The lightning elite is fast and snappy. The clip allows for it to sit low in the pocket. Good knife for the price. Fast service and shipping.

VERY Good budget EDC or starter OTF!
Ok, so if you are familiar with Lightning knive's reputation, or have read a lot of reviews about them, forget it. This is made by a different company, straight out of China, whereas Lightning is located in Taiwan. The lightning website does Not include these on their site, for further proof. There are several reviews on youtube for these knives, and comparing them to the Lightning knives. Good material there. Which is why I decided to purchase the Elite, rather than the Lightning. They're better. Some. Stephen has done a fantastic job in his review, and I'll just take over on some of the things that I feel still need worth mentioning. But before I get into that, I do want to say, that this is my absolute FAVORITE fidget factor OTF. The action has been 100% reliable, and has yet to have a failure to deploy properly. Even when I'm actuating as fast as I can. The action on the switch is smooth and very easy to manipulate. The button/switch is wonderfully milled, and is extremely comfortable to use, even with a high degree of repetition. I can literally fidget this thing for hours, and not have a sore thumb. Can't say that about ANY of the other OTF knives that I have from other brands. For $30 dollars, this is probably one of the best budget OTF knives, as far as reliability and performance. No, they're no beauty queen. Especially when the pain on the handles starts to wear off. But they are a very, very good quality knife. Especially for $30. However, it's $30. So there's a few things you WILL need, when you own this knife. 1) A precision screwdriver kit, that includes a #4 Torx/Star bit. I'm not saying that the screws are cheap, or that the body is cheap. But these knives DO fire and retract with some authority. That impact, and vibration, especially when you do it a lot, WILL cause the screws to start to back out/come loose. I also recommend some blue (medium) loc-tite to put on them to help hold them in. Sharpness. This could just be the one that was sent to me, but sharp does not describe this blade. All the angles, and lines on the grind of this blade line up wonderfully, and dare I say...almost perfectly. However, the cutting edge is Dull. That was not the case with the drop point Elite I bought. I'm still wearing a band-aid from a bite that one gave me. Bottom Line: It's $30 dollars, shipped. BUY IT. The size, weight, and reliability make for an absolutely fantastic daily carry/daily use knife. And, at the pricepoint, you can easily afford to get a backup, in case your primary gets gunked up inside and needs to be cleaned. If you are looking to get into the OTF knives, this is a really, really good starter piece.
