Cool blade geometry
Red semi-gloss finish is easy to find in low light--most knives are black or dark colored so red is a nice change. Tasteful satin/brush finished hollow ground blade, 2.75mm thick, with blood grooves and comes shaving sharp. The Lightning Elite is about 1mm wider in the grip than the basic Lightning OTF and has enhanced texturing on the handle. The single edge blade allows thumb placement on the spine for extra leverage, is a little safer to deal with and is easier to sharpen although the Tanto actually has two edges. The bonus sheath has an adjustable buckle and belt loop that both adjust with velcro. It can be used for other things too--an 8rd Makarov magazine fits perfectly.
