Kizer Dorado - Great quality for the $$$
Owning many knives (perhaps one can have too many???...nah!) I feel somewhat qualified to give a general recommendation on this product. Based on personal experience Kizer knives are consistently good in the area of( overall quality. This knife is above and beyond merely "good". The design is very comfortable and provides adequate grip even with the smooth handles. The workmanship on the example I received was exceptional with respect to fit and finish in particular. This knife has the smoothest/quickest action of any frame lock I have including several assisted opening knives (mostly ZTs - 550,560,562, 566, 770 and others). I don't imagine that it would compete well many knives designed for hard usage with the single standoff design but that was not the intent of this design. With titanium handles and S35vn steel it would be a great buy at the current pricing...the artistic customization on the "Skully" model is just icing on the cake. As most, would prefer Made in USA but some of us just can't afford the much higher price.
