Great OTF knife for the price
Great OTF knife, does its job well. Seems like it will last a while and definitely worth the price.

Entry level OTF
Strong fire and retract. Occasional failure to completely deploy. Sharp out of the box. I didn’t expect it to be perfect for the price, so I was not disappointed. Works good about 90% of the time. Worth the price for budget OTF

nice for the price!
For the price you can’t beat it! You usually get what you pay for but with this knife you get more than what you pay for. If you wanting to dip your toes in OTFs this is a good starting point or if you just want a beater so you can leave the more expensive ones at home this is the knife! Thanks Perry knife works for the quality service and fast attention! I will be buying again from here! Thanks again!

Nice little OTF
If you're interested in an OTF and don't want to spend big $$$ for the big name knives, this is a great entry point knife. No, it's not Microtech or Benchmade quality. Then again, it's 30 bucks! And honestly, the quality feels fairly solid. And the knife actually feels solid in the hand. The action is very strong and positive too. I've fired mine hundreds of times and it has functioned perfectly every time without fail. Yes, it has blade play, but that's just part of the OTF game. Some may have less, some more, but they all have it and my example is perfectly acceptable in this regard. Now for a few negatives... Mine came reasonably sharp from the factory. Nothing special, but serviceable. But I noticed that the edge grind wasn't uniform on each side, with the right side bevel face significantly longer than the left. This bugged me a bit so I decided to address the edge geometry. I used a black marker and a little time with my Lansky Sharpening System to check left and right angles. Then, starting with the extra coarse diamond to regrind the edge on both sides, getting each side even at 20 degrees, then working through the various grades up to the fine ceramic. Then I finished with a few stropping passes on bare leather. After a little time I had a MUCH nicer edge, that will now make S curve cuts and push cut straight through paper. Can't say how well the steel with retain an edge, but it certainly WILL take one! After a bunch of firings I noticed that the screws where starting to walk out a bit. Not a big deal of course, but I would recommend removing each screw and adding a little blue loctite before tightening everything back up snugly. Once that's done, the knife should stay tight and solid with no worries of losing a screw. The pocket clip, while serviceable, doesn't have a ton of tension. I know it's a cheap knife, but I'd be less worried about loss if the pocket clip was of higher quality and of thicker material. With that said, if I were to lose this knife, I'd have no qualms about ordering another in an instant. If you want bragging rights, or you just have money burning a hole in your pocket, spend the $$$ and get one of the big names. But if you just want a knife to play with, or to check out the OTF idea, or just a serviceable everyday OTF knife to really use... give the Lightning a try. Due to the price, and overall quality, this is an OTF that I'll actually USE as opposed to a $400-$600 knife that I'd be afraid to carry or use much in the real world. Order one! You won't regret it!

Quality knife at affordable price
If you have watched the review by NutNFancy on YouTube than you know everything you need to about this knife. It’s surprisingly good quality at an amazing price. It is dependable as an everyday carry knife and just an all around great value. I’m a paramedic and I use this knife at work constantly. I love it. I’ll be buying more as gifts for friends and family.
