knife is the good deal expected
The lightning is the good deal for the 'fun' functional knife it's intended to be. I had researched it and it's just as expected. I want to give Pretty Knife Works its props here as well. I sent a message checking stock and heard back quickly. I placed the order on Thursday from Phoenix AZ. It shipped Friday and was I'm in my mailbox Monday, from MA. Thanks for taking care of the customer!

Great 1 hand opening knife.
Great price for an OTF knife. This is a great knife if you have to do a lot of work with 1 hand. It opens and closes easily with just 1 hand. I was worried it might open in, or coming out of my pocket. Doesn’t seem like it could. You have to put some good pressure on the thumb actuator for it move, not a lot, but enough that I don’t see a possibility of it happening accidentaly. It came pretty sharp from the factory. All around good knife and I will certainly purchase a few more in the future for backup or gifts.

Great Budget Auto OTF
First off, the ones that Perry Knife Works is selling (at time of this review) are the Taiwanese made lightnings which are superior in quality and construction than the chinese made lightnings. These are great knives that are tried and true "budget/starter" otf auto knives. They are durable and sharp, and very rugged- all for under $40. Buy one, because you will not regret it. Even if you do get a lemon or have a problem with your knife, the guys at Perry Knife Works are great and will help you out. One of the lightnings I ordered ended up having a manufacturing issue (the blade would sometimes not shoot out all the way as intended) and I sent out a message to Perry Knife Works and within 10 minutes they called me back and by the next morning had sent out a replacement. Hands down the best customer service I have ever had.

well first thing i have to say top notch seller!!!!!! and shipping was extremely fast unbelievable , just can’t say enough about the seller. now about the lighting knife great knife just by holding it you can tell well built and lighting fast oh yeah and i had to buy two once the first one arrived and so will you!!!! forgot to mention they come razor sharp so becarful lol

Love these Lightning knives
Well the first thing I have to say is these things are getting somewhat hard to find. The second thing is that this was my first order with Perryknifeworks and wow what a find! Not only do they have a great selection of knives but their prices including shipping is great and extremely fast. The knife is first rate, quick and sharp. This is not my first lightning OTF and I noticed since my last purchase they have gotten considerably heavier. This one weighs nearly double of my other OTF's of the same brand. I am not concerned about that but felt it worth mentioning. Still the fit and finish is excellent and I am incredibly happy I ay least found one to purchase. I am just hoping that there will be more to choose from in the future.

Very pleased with this one
The blade comes surprisingly very sharp. The otf action its pretty decent, but if you try putting it up to a sheet of paper and opening it hoping it will go through it might not but either way the blade will seem like it's disconnected from the springs so it won't deploy or lock anymore, but it is a easy fix just flick it open or grab the middle of the blade where it isn't sharp and pull up then it will work again. Very happy with this one.
