The Solo Scientific Solar Knife measures 8-3/8" overall. 3-3/4" 420HC stainless drop point blade. Full tang. Aluminum handles. One side of the handle has a very shallow parabolic reflective surface that is able to focus the sun's energy to a singular point above the knife to ignite combustible materials to start a campfire. End of handle has a small round cutout which allows the user to make a precise tinder holder arm by mounting a branch or twig to hold tinder at the exact focus point. Knife may also be used as traditional knife for cutting or chopping. Comes with a small bag of fire tinder. Comes equipped with a tan leather belt sheath.
