Thaitsuki Nihonto is owned and run by the Sivarat family who has been making Japanese Katanas for over 400 years. The methods and secrets of sword making was taught to the Sivarat family by Yamada Nagamasa, the commanding officer of 500 volunteer Samurai warriors stationed in Thailand in the late 1590s. The Sivarat family was one of the few that were chosen to forge Japanese Katanas for the Japanese warriors. For the past 400 years their family run Thailand forge has been perfecting their skills, crafting the finest production Japanese swords available for private collectors and martial artists throughout Japan.
